He lights a match and hopes to exchange money for a baggie full of Ecstasy. Instead, as the match flairs, he finds himself surrounded by a gang of skinheads. Like a pack of wild animals, they charge at him battering him with their fists. He staggers back leaning against the wall of the club for support, the throbbing music inside drowning out the sound of his cries for help. Brutally head-butted by their leader, he finally falls down. That’s when the Boot Party begins. A volley of brutal kicks rains down on him.
A moment later, the skinheads flee down the alley leaving the lifeless body behind them.It is the summer of 1994 in Austin, Texas. Ecstasy is sweeping through the rock clubs, skinheads are targeting the “hippies” of the new music scene, and all hell is breaking loose. The last thing young surgery resident Dr. Lynn Forrest wanted to do on his weeklong vacation in Austin was to treat overdoses, perform CPR on more victims, and get dragged by the police into the heart of a wave of violence.
When a batch of poisoned Ecstasy hits the scene, he may be the only person who can put all the pieces together before even more bodies pile up.
